Leadership Coaching

A coach and a coachee engaged in an executive coaching session.

In a sales and marketing context, executive coaching is best delivered by the team leader, who has a close relationship with the executive and understands the wider picture. Our role is to coach the coach, to help leaders to stimulate actively, improve outcomes, overcome challenges, embrace change in order to realise goals.

At Process Selling, leadership coaching is a stand-alone activity, separate from the Blueprint and Training. Sessions are structured in groups of 10 over 3 months, with individual sessions lasting between 60 and 90 minutes. Although coaching time is valuable, the real value is in what's achieved between sessions, and to this end, the coach is continuously active and engaging.

I never cease to be amazed at the power of the coaching process to draw out the skills or talent that was previously hidden within an individual, and which invariably finds a way to solve a problem previously thought unsolvable.

Why a Leadership Coach?

A sales and marketing leader can greatly benefit from a leadership coach for several reasons:

  1. Enhanced Leadership Skills: A coach helps develop essential leadership qualities such as communication, decision-making, and strategic thinking, enabling the leader to guide their team more effectively.
  2. Objective Perspective: Coaches provide an unbiased, outside perspective, helping leaders identify blind spots and areas for improvement that might otherwise be overlooked.
  3. Improved Performance: By focusing on personal and professional growth, a coach helps sales and marketing leaders enhance their performance, which directly impacts the team's success.
  4. Strategic Planning: Coaches assist in setting clear, achievable goals and creating strategic plans to reach them, ensuring the leader's vision is effectively translated into action.
  5. Conflict Resolution: A coach equips leaders with techniques for managing and resolving conflicts within their team, fostering a more collaborative and productive work environment.
  6. Adaptability: In a constantly changing market, a coach helps sales and marketing leaders stay adaptable and resilient, preparing them to handle new challenges and opportunities.
  7. Work-Life Balance: Coaches provide strategies for maintaining a healthy work-life balance, reducing burnout and increasing overall well-being.
  8. Career Advancement: Continuous development through coaching positions sales and marketing leaders for future career growth and opportunities within their organisation.

By working with a leadership coach, sales and marketing leaders can refine their skills, achieve their goals, and lead their teams to greater success.
